MAL-VW is a campervan conversion company based in Truro, Cornwall. Established over 20 years ago, this conversion specialist uses the VW Transporter as the base for all vehicles in their range and have an extensive experience with VW vans. The company sell half and full conversions as well as new and used VW T6 and T6.1 campervans and work with customers to design and create their dream camper. They also offer hire and finance services as well as maintenance and repairs on VW T5, T6 and T6.1 models.

MAL-VW have a number of campervan conversion designs in their range. The Freerunner SWB conversion comes in two or four berths and comes with five or six seats, depending on the customer’s requirements. It has an extra-large boot and two separate storage compartments in the living area for optimal space. This camper is also fitted with a kitchen unit including a hob, sink and fridge/freezer. The Freerunner LWB conversion also has two or four berths and can accommodate up to seven people. This slightly bigger conversion offers an extra 5 inches of sleeping space and an additional burner hob.

The Tourlander and the Tourliner conversions come are built on a SWB and feature a different layout to the MAL-VW Freerunner conversions. These campers come in two or four berths and can seat four people. They are equipped with a kitchen area at the rear, and a portable toilet with electronic flush. Customers have the choice of either twin single beds or a double bed which during day use can turn into a U shaped lounge area.

These conversions also have a Reimo superflat high lift rear open elevating roof for space to stand up and move around inside the campers. The kitchen areas feature two hobs, a sink and a fridge/freezer. There’s also room for a table in the living area and still plenty of storage space in the form of a wardrobe and cabinets under the sink.
