Aviva Broker Community Fund Winners!
At Comfort Insurance we care about making a difference in our local community, that’s why we’re thrilled to announce that our submission to the Aviva Broker Community Fund was a success! We successfully secured £2500 for our selected charity Support 4 Sight!
What is the Aviva Broker Community Fund?
Each year Aviva hosts the Broker Community Fund, an opportunity for insurance brokers to back local charity organisations or community projects; successful candidates will win a sum of money for their elected project or charity.
Who are Support 4 Sight? (S4S)
This year we decided to champion Support 4 Sight! S4S is one of the largest local sight loss charities in Essex. They operate across Uttlesford, Chelmsford, Epping Forest, Harlow and Braintree doing amazing work with people who are blind or partially sighted, providing them with support and assistance in helping to improve their ability to lead a full life with sight loss!
Support 4 Sight provide information, advice, guidance, emotional support and practical help to those living with blindness, partial sight and reduced vision, and their families and carers.
This includes information & demonstrations about assistive technology and equipment; advice and assistance on benefits and concessions; home visits; low vision clinics, emotional support in hospitals; befriending services; outings and social events across the region (both in person and online) for people to socialise, network, gain information and take part in activities; and an award-winning employment programme.
The work that Support 4 Sight do is truly exceptional, and our team is honoured to be able to contribute to their mission. Through our support for S4S we hope to make a positive impact and are excited to see the positive effect that Support 4 Sight will continue to have on the community.
