Comfort Insurance’s New and Improved Breakdown Cover

At Comfort Insurance we strive to improve our policies to offer the best coverage for our customers. We always take into consideration the feedback we receive and your suggestions on how we can make our policies even better! That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that from the 1st of April, we are offering a new and improved motorhome and campervan breakdown service!

All renewals and new business policies from 1st April with additional motorhome and campervan breakdown cover will be switched over to our new and improved breakdown service!

 

Increased Claims Cost Limit

Our new motorhome and campervan breakdown cover provided by ARAG and Call Assist offers all the same or improved benefits compared to our old cover. One of the most important advantages of this new cover is the new total claims cost limit, our previous breakdown had a claims cost limit of £5,000, whereas, with an ARAG policy, the claims cost covers you up to £10,000 per single breakdown! With this updated claim cost, you ensure your vehicle is covered, which is more peace of mind especially if you have a larger motorhome or need a more complicated repatriation carried out.

 

UK Based Call Centre

Being broken down abroad can be stressful enough without worrying about having your needs miscommunicated due to a language barrier or mistranslation. With our new motorhome and campervan breakdown policy, no matter where you are calling from, you’ll be put through to a helpful and professional specialistic UK call centre that can arrange the help you need. Call Assist use a network of approved rescue and recovery repairers across the UK & Europe to ensure ‘customers experience an efficient, timely and safe recovery.’ So, no matter where you travel, we’ve got you covered in the event of a breakdown!

 

Specialised Breakdown Cover

Our breakdown policy is specialised and specific to Motorhomes and Campervans, so whatever the size of your vehicle, we can provide the breakdown cover you need as an optional extra to your insurance policy.

To accommodate the needs for motorhome and campervan breakdowns our provider will only send out the appropriate repairer for your vehicle. If the repair cannot be carried out there and then on the roadside, our provider will transport you and your vehicle to a suitable repairer or even repatriate your vehicle back home.

 

More accessible ways to report

On the Call Assist Vehicle Rescue app, you can easily report your breakdown without even having to make a call.

The app includes innovative features such as;

• The ability to self-service your assistance without making a phone call
• View the progress of your assistance before it arrives.
• Real-time notifications of updates to your assistance
• View important information about your breakdown assistance

The app even has accessibility options for those who are hard of hearing or have difficulty with speech, giving the provider and customer the ability to communicate via SMS if further information is needed when requiring assistance.
